It is important for anyone who works with, or handles food to be aware of the latest food safety and hygiene standards. The Level 2 course is aimed at anyone who handles foods including at events such as bake sales, charity events etc. The course is also ideal for people working in positions such as, but not limited to: Chef/Cook, Bartender, Front of House Workers, Catering/Kitchen Assistant, Teacher, Support / Care/ Charity Worker, Barista, Child Minder/Nursery Staff.

It covers all the topics you need to know to comply with UK’s food standards including how to store and freeze food safely, how to clean and disinfect equipment, the importance of pest control, the food safety legislation and much more.
The duration of the course is 1 day. Upon successful completion of the course Delegates will receive a PDF certificate valid for 3 years.
